Calculator data
Entries are processed in your browser's current memory. The calculator does not send weights, job descriptions or results to us. It uses no calculator cookies, browser storage, account, upload or fingerprint. Reloading clears entries. Downloads are text files saved by your browser; printing uses your browser and printer settings. You control those copies; avoid sharing confidential job information.
Saving and sharing
The copy-link button, available after launch, writes only the public page address to your clipboard when you click it. It does not include your weights or result and does not post to a social network. You decide whether and where to share it. Optional editorial resources link to external sites with their own policies; no affiliate tracking links are active.
Website delivery
The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. A public hosting provider processes request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and time to deliver and secure the site. We do not operate a separate access-log database. Provider processing, locations and retention are governed by its policies; we do not promise zero hosting logs or a retention period we cannot verify. Review Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Avoid putting personal information into URLs.
Optional visit measurement
This release uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate visits, page views, approximate country, referring sites, device category and performance. Its documented design uses no visitor cookies or fingerprinting. It does not measure unique humans reliably, calculator inputs, completed calculations, or advertising conversions. Browser blockers and network failures can prevent reports. Automated traffic filtering is imperfect. Requests to Cloudflare still occur; cookieless does not mean no processing.
The site omits its analytics script on local hosts, other deployment origins and URLs containing qa=1. This excludes known test sessions from this script, not hosting records. We keep no separate visitor-level analytics database. Cloudflare currently makes up to six months of Web Analytics history available. A locally retained aggregate experiment summary contains no IP addresses, user identifiers or calculator inputs.
Contact messages
There is no website contact form. If you choose to email the operator, your provider and the operator’s mailbox provider process the message and address. Send only what is necessary to describe a correction; do not send passwords, identity documents, payment details, client designs or sensitive measurements.
Routine Spool Margin inquiry emails, sent replies and attachments are deleted from our mailbox and Trash within 30 days after the inquiry is closed, except where retention is required by law. The operator applies this policy manually. Mailbox-provider processing and retention follow its policies. You may request access, correction or deletion of information voluntarily sent through the public contact channel, subject to applicable law and provider capabilities.
Purpose and permitted use
This free experimental beta supports material planning using user-provided uncertainty bounds. Independent physical validation remains pending. Results are conditional estimates and do not guarantee print completion. It is not a manufacturer recommendation, safety instruction or promise of successful printing. You are responsible for defensible inputs and following equipment instructions. Do not interfere with services, bypass access controls or distribute unlawful material. Do not rely on this estimate for safety-critical decisions.
Availability, responsibility and changes
We aim to correct reported errors but do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular result. No contractual waiver here overrides rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. There are no purchases or subscriptions in this release. Changes to processing or monetization require a new dated policy and owner approval. External reference sites have their own terms and policies.
